Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.
  2. Remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1230581 Size: SH
  3. Remove the OnStar bracket bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1207691 Size: SH
  4. Remove the OnStar module bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1207691 Size: SH
  1. Install the OnStar module bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Tighten the OnStar bracket bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement .
  4. Install the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.
