Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1583634 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the oil pressure sensor heat shield bolts and shield.

    3. Object Number: 1774868 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the oil pressure sensor.

    4. Object Number: 1611428 Size: SH
  4. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1611428 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the sensor to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1774868 Size: SH
  2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the oil pressure sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1583634 Size: SH
  3. Install the oil pressure sensor heat shield and bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
