Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
2. Remove the rear seat belt buckles. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement.
3. Remove the rear seat belt anchor plate bolt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement.

Rear Seat Adjuster Front Finish Cover

Procedure

Use a hook-like tool to release the tabs on both sides.

Rear Seat Back Fastener(Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
45 N·m (33 lb ft)

Rear Seat Back Fastener(Qty: 4)

Tip
Pull the release strap located on the rear split seat back, folding the rear seat forward to gain access to the fasteners.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Rear Seat Back

Warning: The rear bench seat weighs over 32 kg (71 lb) and is too long for one person to lift. To avoid personal injury use two people to lift this seat.

Procedure

Transfer components as necessary.
