Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
  2. Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side .
  3. Remove the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector.

Mode Actuator Screw (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)

Tip

    •  Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control assembly while the HVAC control assembly and actuators are calibrating. If interrupted improper HVAC performance will result.
    • Refer to Control Module References for programming and set up information.
