Preliminary Procedure

Remove rear door switch bezel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Switch Bezel Replacement .

Rear Side Door Trim Push-in Retainer (Qty: 2)

Rear Side Door Inside Handle Bolt Finish Cap

Tip
Pull handle back to remove cap. Use suitable tool to unsnap.

Rear Side Door Inside Handle Screw

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Rear Side Door Pull Handle Screw (Qty: 2)

Tighten
3 N·m (27 lb in)

Rear Side Door Trim Panel Assembly

Procedure

1. Use a J 38778 to aid in the removal of the door trim panel
2. Pull upwards on the door lock retainer cable to disengage.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
