Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Malibu 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning 🢒 Heater Core Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the lower center floor air outlet duct.
  3. Remove the upper center floor air outlet duct screws.
  4. Remove the upper center floor air outlet duct.

    5. Object Number: 1203597 Size: SH
  5. Drill out the heater core cover heat stakes.

    6. Object Number: 1203550 Size: SH
  6. Remove the heater core cover screws.
  7. Remove the heater core cover.

    8. Object Number: 1203553 Size: SH
  8. Remove the heater core.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1203553 Size: SH
  1. Install the heater core.
  2. Install the heater core cover.

    3. Object Number: 1203550 Size: SH

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the heater core cover screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  4. Install the upper center floor air outlet duct.

    5. Object Number: 1203597 Size: SH
  5. Install the upper center floor air outlet duct screws.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  6. Install the lower center floor air outlet duct.
  7. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
