Notice: Refer to Test Probe Notice in the Preface section.

1. Select the Ω position (6) on the Digital Multimeter (1).
2. Disconnect the power supply (i.e. fuse, control module) (3) from the suspect circuit.
3. Disconnect the load.
4. Connect one lead of the Digital Multimeter (1) to one end of the circuit to be tested (4).
5. Connect the other lead of the Digital Multimeter (1) to the other end of the circuit (5).
6. If the Digital Multimeter (1) displays a low or no resistance (2) and an audible tone is heard, the circuit has good continuity.
