Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1957964 Size: SH
  1. Grasp the instrument panel (I/P) insulation panel assembly (1) and carefully pull downward to disengage the retaining clips.
  2. Remove the courtesy lamp socket  (2) from the I/P insulation panel assembly (1) by rotating counter-clockwise.
  3. Disconnect the navigation interface module (NIM) electrical connector (3).
  4. Remove the I/P insulation panel assembly (1).

  5. Remove the NIM retaining screws (1).
  6. Remove the NIM (3) from the I/P insulation panel assembly (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1957975 Size: SH
  1. Install the NIM (3) to the I/P insulation panel assembly (2).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the NIM retaining screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the courtesy lamp socket (2) to the I/P insulation panel assembly (1) by rotating clockwise.
  4. Connect the NIM electrical connector (3).
  5. Install the I/P insulation panel assembly (1) to the I/P by engaging the retaining clips.
  6. Make sure all the clips are located correctly.
