The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

GM Dealers and ADIs may occasionally question the initial quality of a GM Accessories Wheel Assembly from an aesthetics perspective.

Recommendation/Instructions:

When in doubt, the general rule that should be followed (as approved by GM Tire & Wheel Systems) is:

"No visible defects with the wheel in car position in daylight at a distance of 3 feet."

Otherwise, GM Dealers should reference TSB 07-03-10-015A to determine which issues are covered under warranty and which are not for plant-installed (OE) wheels as well as GM Accessories Wheels that have already been installed on a customer's vehicle.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
