For 1990-2009 cars only
- Inspect the general condition of the following components whenever you raise the vehicle for service:
- Inspect the underbody clearances in order to prevent overheating of the floor pan and possible damage to the passenger compartment insulation and trim materials.
- Inspect the exhaust system for the following conditions:
| • | The catalytic converter |
| • | The exhaust pipes |
| • | The muffler |
| • | Abnormal wear |
| • | Visual damage or misalignment |
| • | Open seams |
| • | Loose connections |
| • | Holes |
| • | Any other deterioration that could permit exhaust fumes to enter the passenger compartment |
