J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .



3. Remove the hose clamps from the heater water shut off valve inlet and outlet using the J 38185 .
4. Disconnect the heater water shut off valve vacuum hose.
5. Remove the heater water shut off valve retaining nut (4).
6. Remove the heater water shut off valve (5).

1. Install the heater water shut off valve (5).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the heater water shut off valve retaining nut (4).

Tighten
Tighten the to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

3. Connect the heater water shut off valve vacuum hose.
4. Install the hose clamps to the heater water shut off valve inlet and outlet using the J 38185 .
5. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
6. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
