Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the engine in order to remove the weight from the mounts.
  2. Remove engine cover to gain access to rear mount. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 885622  Size: SH
  4. Remove the engine mount bracket to engine mount bolts/nuts.
  5. Lift the engine to remove engine mount bracket bolts.

  6. Object Number: 879977  Size: SH
  7. Remove the engine mount bracket to engine bolts.
  8. Remove the engine mounts bracket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 879977  Size: SH
  1. Install the engine mount bracket.
  2. Install the engine mount bracket to engine bolts .
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Torque engine mount bracket bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  6. Lower the engine to install the engine mount bracket to engine mount .
  7. Torque engine mount bracket to engine mount nut.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the engine mount nut to 195 N·m (144 lb ft).

  9. Install engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  10. Lower the engine and remove the supports used to remove the weight from the mounts.
