Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1986952 Size: MH
  1. Remove the clip (5) on the turbo inlet duct side.
  2. Remove the clip (5) on the cylinder head cover side.
  3. Remove the oil separator body cover (11). Refer to Oil Separator Body Cover Replacement .

    4. Important: Before removing, mark the hoses assembly position.

  4. Remove the two clips (9) on the oil separator side.
  5. Remove all the band clips (7) fixing the PCV inlet (4) and outlet (8) hoses.
  6. Remove the bolts (1, 3) fixing the PCV inlet (4) and outlet (8) hoses at the top of the cylinder head cover and the top of the intake throttle.
  7. Remove the PCV inlet (4) and outlet (8) hoses.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1986952 Size: MH

    Important: Assemble the aligned mark made prior to the removal.

  1. Install the PCV inlet (4) and outlet (8) hoses.
  2. Install the oil separator side with the clips (9).
  3. Install the oil separator body cover (7). Refer to Oil Separator Body Cover Replacement .
  4. Install the hose to the cylinder head cover side with clip (5).
  5. Install the hose to the turbo inlet with clip (5).

    6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  6. Install the PCV inlet (4) and outlet (8) hoses with the two bolts (1, 3).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the PCV inlet (4) and outlet (8) hoses in their original positions withe the band clips (7).
