Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 736741 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pan drain plug and allow the engine oil to drain completely.
  3. Clean the oil pan drain plug surface.

    4. Object Number: 736634 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil filter from the oil filter adapter and allow the engine oil to drain completely.
  5. Clean the oil filter mounting surface.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 736634 Size: SH
  1. Install a new oil filter to the oil filter adapter. Tighten the oil filter per the oil filter manufacturers instruction printed on the oil filter box.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil pan drain plug.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pan drain plug to 78 N·m (58 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Fill the engine with oil. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
