Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Kodiak C-Series (Conventional) C4/C5 🢒 Preface 🢒 Dangers, Warnings, and Cautions 🢒 Hood Layer Installation
  1. Place the hood on the padded table in front of the vehicle.
  2. Align the hinge bushings to the holes in the hinge bracket.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. With the aid of an assistant, install the hood hinge bolt through the bracket and the hinge.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  4. Connect the wiring harness connector to the headlamp harness at the right front of the hood.
  5. While supporting the hood, align the brace spring to the radiator support brace.

    6. Object Number: 815535 Size: SH
  6. Install the cotter pin and the clevis pin through the following components:
    7. • The brace spring
    • The radiator support bracket
  7. Close the hood.
