J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover

1. Use J 9886-01 in order to remove the window regulator handle, if equipped.
2. Remove the front door garnish. Refer to Front Side Door Front Garnish Molding Replacement.
3. Remove the front door trim plate. Refer to Front Door Trim Plate Replacement.
4. Remove the screws from the arm rest. Refer to Pull Handle Replacement.



5. Lift up on the front door trim panel (1) in order to release the retaining tabs on the front door trim panel.
6. Remove the front door trim panel (1) from the vehicle.

1. Install the front door trim panel (1) to the vehicle.
2. Align the retaining tabs on the front door trim panel with the holes in the door.
3. Push down on the retaining tabs in order to lock the retaining tabs into place.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




4. Install the screws to the arm rest.

Tighten
Tighten the arm rest retaining screws to 3.3 N·m (29 lb in).

5. Install the front door front garnish. Refer to Front Side Door Front Garnish Molding Replacement.
6. Install the front door trim plate. Refer to Front Door Trim Plate Replacement.
7. Install the window regulator handle (1), if equipped.
