For 1990-2009 cars only
- Attach a small piece of hose to the drain cock (2) onto the water-in-fuel sensor.
- Place an approved fuel-resistant container under the fuel filter.
- Open the drain cock three or four turns or until the water contaminated fuel seeps from the drain cock.
- Operate the priming pump (1) until only clean diesel fuel is visible. Allow the pump to return upwards between pushes.
- Tighten the drain cock.
- Remove the container and hose.
