Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Object Number: 910599 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors.

    3. Object Number: 910597 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accumulator bottle bracket retaining nuts and position the bottle out of the way.

    4. Object Number: 808144 Size: SH
  4. Remove the two multi-use bracket tray bolts and multi use bracket tray.

    5. Object Number: 808140 Size: SH
  5. Remove the three transmission control module retainer bolts or nuts and the transmission control module from the multi-use bracket tray.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 808140 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission control module retainer to the multi-use bracket tray with three bolts or nuts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts or bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).


    Object Number: 910597 Size: SH
  2. Install the accumulator bottle bracket nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).


    Object Number: 808144 Size: SH
  3. If equipped, install the connector bracket with two nuts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts or bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical wiring harness to the transmission control module.
  5. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
