Up/Down or In/Out Adjustment Procedure

1. Open the rear door.



2. Loosen two 13 mm (0.51 in) door side hinge bolts. Do not remove the bolts.
3. Adjust the door up or down by repositioning the door as needed.
4. Adjust the door in or out by repositioning the door as needed.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Tighten the two 13 mm (0.51 in) rear door side hinge bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the rear door side hinge bolts to 33 N·m (24 lb ft).

2. Inspect the door for proper operation.

Fore/Aft Adjustment

1. Loosen the two 13 mm (0.51 in) body side hinge bolts. Do not remove them.
2. Loosen one 10 mm (0.39 in) cone adjuster body side hinge bolt.
3. Adjust the door fore and aft by repositioning the door as needed.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the one 10 mm (0.39 in) cone adjuster body side hinge bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the cone adjuster body side hinge bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

2. Install the two 13 mm (0.51 in) body side hinge bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the body side hinge bolts to 33 N·m (24 lb ft).
