Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2005 🢒 Kodiak C-Series Motorhome (Cutaway) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 6.6L (LLY) 🢒 Fuel Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the glow plug controller and bracket. Refer to Glow Plug Controller Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1739303 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel pressure relief valve from the left fuel rail.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1739303 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel pressure relief valve to the left fuel rail.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel pressure relief valve to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  2. Install the glow plug controller and bracket. Refer to Glow Plug Controller Replacement.
  3. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming.
  4. Start the engine.

    5. If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

  5. Inspect the fuel system for fuel leaks.
  6. Close the hood.
