When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

04 6.6L LLY Diesel Engine fuel injector compression leak noise or soot around the injector body

If an fuel injector compression leak noise or soot around the injector body is found the injector copper sealing washer and rubber O ring may require inspection.

1. The injector copper sealing washer and rubber O ring copper may be damaged or missing.
2. If the copper sealing washer or the rubber O ring are required, they are now available through GMSPO using the following Part Numbers:

Injector copper sealing washer P/N 97327722

Injector rubber O ring P/N 94013303

.

Note : Both of the above parts are a ship direct part and require a SPAC case

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
