Is the vehicle equipped with an audio amplifier?

Test the appropriate speaker outputs from the radio to the audio amplifier for an open or high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the battery positive voltage circuit to the audio amplifier for an open or high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the audio amplifier ground circuit for an open or high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the appropriate speaker outputs from the radio for a short to ground or a short to voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
