Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 669537 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Disconnect the vacuum supply hose from the EVAP canister purge valve.

  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve bolt.
  5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve from the intake manifold.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 576032 Size: SH
  1. Position the EVAP canister purge valve to the intake manifold.
  2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the vacuum supply hose to the EVAP canister purge valve.
  4. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe to the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Connect the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector.
