Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 697546  Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the radio delete plate.
  4. Remove the radio delete plate from the instrument panel.

  5. Object Number: 697548  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the multifunction alarm module.
  7. Remove the multifunction alarm module from the instrument panel by lifting up and out.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 697548  Size: SH
  1. Install the multifunction alarm module to the instrument panel by pressing in place until fully seated.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the multifunction alarm module.

  3. Object Number: 697546  Size: SH
  4. Install the radio delete plate to the instrument panel.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the screws to the radio delete plate.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
