Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting Systems.

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Place the turn signal switch to a turn left or a turn right position.

Do the turn signal tamps flash on and off?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Using a test light conected to a good B+ feed circuit, probe the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher ground circuit.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair a poor conection or an open in the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher ground circuit.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step  6

Replace the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step  6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
