Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting Systems.

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Close all the doors and turn the headlamp switch to the OFF position.

Are the courtesy lamps off?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Remove the BATT rundown protection relay.

Do the courtesy lamps turn off?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the BATT rundown protection relay.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

1. Reinstall the BATT rundown protection relay.
2. Disconnect the RH I/P Accessory Wiring Junction Block connector C3.

Do the courtesy lamps turn off?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the RH I/P Accessory Wiring Junction Block.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Repair a short to B+ on the courtesy lamps switched B+ feed circuit.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
