Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting Systems.

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Press the fog lamp switch to the ON position.

Are both of the fog lamps on?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Using a test lamp connected to a known good ground, backprobe the inoperable fog lamp B+ feed circuit.

Does the test lamp turn on?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair a poor connection or an open in the fog lamp B+ feed circuit.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

Using a test lamp, backprobe between the inoperable fog lamp B+ feed circuit and the inoperable fog lamp ground circuit.

Does the test lamp turn on?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the inoperable fog lamp.

Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

Repair a poor connection or an open in the fog lamp ground circuit.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
