Was the Lighting Diagnostic System Check performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting Systems.

1. Remove the park lamp relay.
2. Us a digital multi meter (DMM) to test for B+ on the park lamp relay switch feed.

Is B+ present at the terminal?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the park lamp relay.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Inspect the RT I/P fuse at the top underhood accessory wiring junction block.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Test the B+ supply to the RH I/P accessory wiring junction block for a short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Was the condition found and corrected?

Go to Step 7

Test the B+ supply to the RH I/P accessory wiring junction block for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Was the condition found and corrected?

Go to Step 7

Retest the system in order to verify the repair.
