Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting systems.

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Open a door or turn the headlamp switch to the DOME position.

Do the courtesy lamps turn on?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Inspect the TRK/ROOF BRP Fuse.

Is the fuse Open?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

1. Disconnect the connector C3 at the RH I/P accessory wiring junction block
2. Using a test lamp, connected to a known good ground probe the B+ feed for the courtesy lamps at the RH I/P accessory wiring junction block.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

1. Repair a short to ground in the courtesy lamp B+ feed.
2. Replace the fuse.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Repair a poor connection or open in the B+ feed for the courtesy lamps.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Replace the RH I/P Accessory Wiring Junction Block.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
