Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems in Lighting Systems.

  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
  2. Place the hazard lamp switch to the ON position.

Do all of the turn signal tamps flash on and off?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Inspect the Hazard Switch Fuse.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Repair a short to ground in the hazard switch fuse B+ circuit feed.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step  8

Disconnect the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher.

Using a test lamp connected to a known good ground, probe the hazard switch fuse B+ circuit.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair a poor connection or an open in the hazard switch fuse B+ circuit.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Replace the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
