Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the driver knee bolster reinforcement. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Reinforcement Replacement.
  2. Position the steering column in the most upwards position possible.
  3. Disconnect the electronic power steering motor control module electrical connectors.

  4. Object Number: 2035067  Size: SH
  5. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolts (1).
  6. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket together from the vehicle.

  7. Object Number: 2035154  Size: SH
  8. Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bolts (1).
  9. Separate the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2035154  Size: SH
  1. Position the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket (2) together.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the electronic power steering motor control module bolts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 11.5 N·m (102 lb in).

  5. Install the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket to the vehicle.
  6. Install the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolts (1).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 11.5 N·m (102 lb in).

  8. Connect the electronic power steering motor control module electrical connectors.
  9. Install the driver knee bolster reinforcement. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Reinforcement Replacement.
