Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 HHR 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.0L 🢒 Camshaft Cover Installation

    Object Number: 1825034 Size: SH
  1. Install NEW camshaft cover grommets and camshaft cover bolts if they are serviced with the grommets.
  2. Assemble the camshaft cover and gasket. Ensure that the gasket is located in the retaining groove in the camshaft cover.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the cover on the cylinder head and hand start the bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1769936 Size: SH
  4. Install the front lift bracket.
  5. Install the front lift bracket bolts and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    6. Object Number: 1769939 Size: SH
  6. Install the rear lift bracket.
  7. Install the rear lift bracket bolts and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    8. Object Number: 1846504 Size: SH
  8. Install the ignition coils and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  9. Tighten the camshaft cover bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    10. Note: The solenoid valves are marked intake and exhaust.

  10. Install the camshaft position actuator solenoid valves.
  11. Install the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
