Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

Ball Joint to Steering Knuckle Nut

Tighten
First pass 50 N·m (37 lb ft) reverse nut 3/4 turn. Second pass 50 N·m (37 lb ft) plus 30° rotation.

Ball Joint to Steering Knuckle Bolt

Lower Control Arm to Rear Frame Bolt

Tighten
100 N·m (74 lb ft) plus 180° rotation.

Lower Control Arm to Front Frame Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
55 N·m (41 lb ft)
