Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

for the 2.2L engine or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 2.4L engine.

2. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Coolant Recovery Reservoir Hose

Tip
Only remove the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the radiator fill neck tube.

Radiator Inlet - Front Hose

Tip
Use J 38185 to reposition hose on the radiator inlet hose.
