Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right Side 6.6L (LBZ/LLY)

1. Remove the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Replacement .
2. Remove the exhaust right pipe bolts in the proper sequence.



3. Remove the right exhaust pipe, bracket and gaskets.
4. Discard the gaskets.

1. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the turbocharger. Align the tab on the gasket at the turbocharger to face inward.
2. Loosely install the bolts.
3. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the exhaust manifold. Align the tab on the gasket to face outward.
4. Loosely install the bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




5. Tighten the right exhaust pipe bolts in the proper sequence.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

6. Install the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Replacement .

Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right Side 6.6L (LMM)

1. Remove the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Replacement .
2. Remove the exhaust right pipe bolts and nuts in the proper sequence.



3. Remove the right exhaust pipe, bracket and gaskets.
4. Discard the gaskets.

1. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the turbocharger. Align the tab on the gasket at the turbocharger to face inward.
2. Loosely install the bolts and nuts.
3. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the exhaust manifold. Align the tab on the gasket to face outward.
4. Loosely install the bolts and nuts.

5. Tighten the right exhaust pipe bolts and nuts in the proper sequence.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

6. Install the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Replacement .
