Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 765119  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the lines from the auxiliary cooler.
  4. Remove the lines from the push clips on the auxiliary cooler mounting bracket.
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  6. Object Number: 765118  Size: SH
  7. Remove the lower bolts from the auxiliary cooler mounting bracket.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Remove the upper bolts.
  10. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 765118  Size: SH
  1. Install the oil cooler into the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the upper bolts into the oil cooler bracket.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  6. Install the lower bolts to the oil cooler bracket.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  8. Lower the vehicle.

  9. Object Number: 765119  Size: SH
  10. Connect the oil cooler lines to the auxiliary oil cooler.
  11. Attach the oil cooler lines to the push clips in the mounting bracket.
  12. Reinstall the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement .
