Radio Speaker Amplifier Replacement - Passenger Seat Luxury Y91

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 762429  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front lower speaker.
  2. Remove the passenger seat from the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the nuts that retain the front lower speaker mounting bracket (2) to the passenger seat riser.
  4. Remove the front lower speaker (1) from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the 100-watt amplifier from the front lower speaker, if required.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the 100-watt amplifier to the front lower speaker, if removed.
  2. Install the front lower speaker (1) to the vehicle.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the nuts that retain the front lower speaker mounting bracket (2) to the passenger seat riser.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the front lower speaker mounting bracket nuts to 30 N·m (22 lbs ft).

  6. Install the passenger seat to the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement in Seats.
  7. Connect the electrical connectors to the front lower speaker.
