Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the hinge pillar upper garnish. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the hinge pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the side door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
  5. Remove the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
  6. Remove the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Front Side Door Step Mat Replacement in Interior Trim.

    7. Object Number: 333972 Size: SH
  7. Remove the retainers at the lower corners of the side door opening weatherstrip.

    8. Object Number: 333961 Size: SH
  8. Pull the side door opening weatherstrip from the door opening pinch-weld flange.

    9. Object Number: 333972 Size: SH
  9. Remove the side door opening weatherstrip from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 333972 Size: SH
  1. Apply weatherstrip adhesive into the channel on the side door opening weatherstrip. Use GM P/N 12345097,Canadian P/N 10953479 or the equivalent.

    2. Important: When installing the side door opening weatherstrip, ensure that the corners have not pulled away from the body.

  2. Install the side door opening weatherstrip to the vehicle.

    3. Object Number: 333961 Size: SH
  3. Align the channel on the side door opening weatherstrip to the door opening pinch-weld flange starting at the corners.

    4. Press the weatherstrip into place.

  4. Install the retainers at the ends of the side door opening weatherstrip to the holes in the door opening.
  5. Install the following items:
    6. • Install the hinge pillar upper garnish. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
    • Install the hinge pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
    • Install the side door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
    • Install the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
    • Install the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
    • Install the side door step well mat. Refer to Front Side Door Step Mat Replacement in Interior Trim.
