Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement All Except Luxury

1. Remove the assist handle if equipped. Refer to Front Passenger Seat Assist Handle Replacement .
2. Release the bottom edge of the seatback cover (2).
3. Release the hook and loop strips that retain the seatback cover to the seatback foam pad (1).
4. Remove the armrest. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement .
5. In order to ease removal, place a piece of cardboard between the seatback cover and the foam pad.
6. Working from side to side, carefully lift the seatback cover from the foam pad.

1. Working from side to side, carefully install the seatback cover (2) over the foam pad (1).
2. Remove the cardboard from between the seatback cover and the foam pad.
3. Install the armrest to the seatback. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement .
4. Engage the hook and loop strips retaining the seatback cover to the seatback foam pad.
5. Secure the bottom edge of the seatback cover.
6. Install the assist handle if equipped. Refer to Front Passenger Seat Assist Handle Replacement .

Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement Luxury Y91

1. Remove the bucket seat from the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the headrest. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
3. Remove the armrests. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement or Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
4. Disconnect the hook-and-loop fasteners that retain the seat cushion cover to the pad along the seat back break line.



5. Remove the seat back cover and pad from the seat back.

Important: For the best finished appearance when attaching the seat back cover to the pad, proceed as follows:

Install the seat back pad to the seat back frame.
1. Center the seat back cover on the pad.
2. Starting at the top and working down the sides, apply pressure along the break line. This helps attach the seat back cover to the J-hook fasteners.
3. Reset the hook-and-loop fasteners that retain the seat back cushion to the pad.
4. Install the armrests. Refer to Front Seat Armrest Replacement or Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
5. Install the headrest. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
6. Install the bucket seat in the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
