  1. Disconnect the connector at the multi-function alarm module.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the multi-function alarm module connector, cavity B1 for CKT 1040 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 1040 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and the multi-function alarm module.

Is the multi-function alarm module operative?

Connect a J 39200 DMM ) between the multi-function alarm module connector, cavity B2 for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 4

Replace the multi-function alarm module. Refer to Multifunction Alarm Module Replacement .

Is the multi-function alarm module operative?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the multi-function alarm module and ground G201.

  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the following components:
  3. • The multifunction alarm module connector C1 cavity B1 for the CKT 1040 (ORN) wire
    • Ground

Did the test lamp light?

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the following components:

    • The multifunction alarm module connector C1 cavity B2 for the CKT 150 (BLK) wire
    • Ground

Is continuity present?

  1. Locate the open in the CKT 1040 (ORN) wire between the following components:
  2. • The IP fuse block
    • The multifunction alarm module
  3. Repair the open in the CKT 1040 (ORN) wire between the following components:
  4. • The IP fuse block
    • The multifunction alarm module

Is the repair complete?
