DTC Descriptors

DTC B1395 02: Device Voltage Reference Output Circuit Short to Ground

DTC B1395 05: Device Voltage Reference Output Circuit Short to Battery or Open

Description

This diagnostic applies to internal microprocessor integrity conditions within the heated seat module (HSM).

Conditions for Running the DTC

The HSM must be powered.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The voltage sensing calibration data is out of range.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The heated seat function for both front seats will be disabled.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

    • The current DTC clears when the malfunction is no longer present and the power mode changes to OFF then back to RUN or ACC.
    • The history DTC will clear after 50 consecutive fault-free ignition cycles have occurred.
