Preliminary Procedure

Remove the multifunction turn signal switch housing. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Housing Replacement.

Ignition Lock Cylinder Case Bolt

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Use a small chisel and hammer to back out the ignition lock cylinder case bolt counterclockwise and remove it.
2. When installing a new ignition lock cylinder case bolt continue to tighten it until the head shears off.

Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.

Tip
The ignition lock cylinder must be turned to the run position in order to remove and/or install the ignition lock cylinder case.
