Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Diagnostic Navigation 🢒 Vehicle Diagnostic Information 🢒 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 1371162 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the oil pressure indicator switch electrical connector (2).

    3. Object Number: 1087801 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pressure indicator switch from the engine block.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1087801 Size: SH
  1. Apply sealer to the oil pressure indicator switch threads. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the correct part number.

    2. Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil pressure indicator switch.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the switch to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

  3. Connect the oil pressure indicator switch electrical connector (2).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
