Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Intake Manifold Installation

    Object Number: 1832124 Size: SH
  1. Install the NEW lower intake manifold gasket.

    2. Object Number: 1832119 Size: SH
  2. Install the intake manifold assembly.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1832116 Size: SH
  3. Loosely install the short intake manifold bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1832114 Size: SH
  4. Loosely install the long intake manifold bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten all of the intake manifold bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  5. Install the evaporative emissions (EVAP) solenoid.

    6. Object Number: 1889115 Size: SH
  6. Install the EVAP solenoid bolt

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the EVAP solenoid bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install and connect the intake manifold-to-solenoid EVAP hose to the intake manifold and to the EVAP solenoid.

    8. Object Number: 1889108 Size: SH
  8. Install and connect the dirty air positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose to the intake manifold and to the right camshaft cover fitting.

    9. Object Number: 1832107 Size: SH
  9. Install the engine coolant air bleed pipe.

    10. Object Number: 1832106 Size: SH
  10. Install the fuel injector harness connector to the engine coolant air bleed pipe bracket.

    11. Object Number: 1832104 Size: SH
  11. Install the engine coolant air bleed pipe bracket bolts to the upper intake manifold.

    12. Tighten
    Tighten the engine coolant air bleed pipe bracket bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).


    Object Number: 1832102 Size: SH
  12. Install and connect the fresh air PCV hose to the left camshaft cover fitting.
