Upper to Lower Intake Manifold Disassemble Procedure

    Object Number: 1832126 Size: SH

    Important: Do not reuse the upper-to-lower intake manifold gasket and the intake manifold-to-cylinder head sealing gaskets.

  1. Remove the upper-to-lower intake manifold bolts.

    2. Object Number: 1832129 Size: SH
  2. Remove the upper intake manifold from the lower intake manifold.

    3. Object Number: 1832134 Size: SH
  3. Remove and discard the upper-to-lower intake manifold gaskets.

Upper Intake Manifold Disassemble Procedure

    Object Number: 1832138 Size: SH
  1. Remove the throttle body bolts.

    2. Object Number: 1832141 Size: SH
  2. Remove the throttle body.

    3. Object Number: 1832157 Size: SH
  3. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket.

    4. Object Number: 1832160 Size: SH
  4. Remove and discard the upper intake manifold expansion plugs, if required.

Lower Intake Manifold Disassemble Procedure

    Object Number: 1832164 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness connectors and remove the fuel injector wiring harness.

    2. Object Number: 1832168 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fuel injector rail bolts.

    3. Object Number: 1832171 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel injector rail.

    4. Object Number: 1832176 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper-to-lower intake manifold alignment pins.
