Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1325638 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1421115 Size: SH
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly bolt (2).
  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1).
  5. If replacing the air cleaner assembly, remove the MAF sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. If the air cleaner assembly (1) was replaced, install the MAF sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1421115 Size: SH
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly (1) by inserting the two rubber alignment grommets into the radiator core support behind the right headlight.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the air cleaner assembly attachment bolt (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  5. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
