Coolant Heater Cord Replacement RPO LNJ

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1422755  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the coolant heater cord (2) from the coolant heater (1).

  2. Object Number: 1422757  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the coolant heater cord (1) from the cord retainers (2).
  4. Remove the coolant heater cord (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1422757  Size: SH
  1. Route the coolant heater cord (1) as illustrated, in the engine compartment.
  2. Connect the coolant heater cord (1) to the cord retainers (2) .

  3. Object Number: 1422755  Size: SH
  4. Connect the coolant heater cord (2) to the coolant heater (1).

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1837334  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the coolant heater power supply cord from the coolant heater (1).
  3. Disconnect the coolant heater cord clip (2) from the coolant heater cord.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Disconnect the coolant heater cord clips (3, 4) from the engine wiring harness conduit.

  7. Remove the coolant heater cord clip  (1) from the air cleaner assembly.
  8. Remove the coolant heater cord clip  (2) from the fender panel.
  9. Remove the coolant heater cord from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1837335  Size: SH
  1. Position the coolant heater power supply cord to the fender panel and air cleaner assembly.
  2. Install the coolant heater cord clip  (2) remove the to the fender panel.
  3. Install the coolant heater cord clip  (1) to the air cleaner assembly.

  4. Object Number: 1837334  Size: SH
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  6. Route the coolant heater cord along the engine wiring harness conduit.
  7. Connect the coolant heater cord to the coolant heater (1).
  8. Secure the coolant heater cord clip (2) to the coolant heater cord.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Secure the coolant heater cord clips (3, 4) to the engine wiring harness conduit
