Tail Lamp Assembly and /or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement Equinox

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1344350 Size: SH
  1. Remove the tail lamp bolt covers.

    2. Object Number: 1360913 Size: SH
  2. Remove the tail lamp bolts (3).

    3. Object Number: 1344354 Size: SH
  3. Pull outward at the front of the tail lamp assembly to disengage the retainers from the body side.
  4. Remove the bulbs from the tail lamp assembly.
  5. Remove the tail lamp assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1344354 Size: SH
  1. Position the tail lamp assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Install the bulbs into the tail lamp assembly.
  3. Push inward at the front of the tail lamp assembly to engage the retainers into the body side.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1360913 Size: SH
  4. Install the tail lamp bolts (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the tail lamp bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the tail lamp bolt covers (4).

Preliminary Procedure

Remove either the LR or RR tail lamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .

Park / Turn Directional Bulb (Qty: 2)

Tip
Remove the bulb socket from the lens housing by turning the socket counterclockwise a quarter turn and then remove the bulbs.

Back Up Lamp Bulb

Tip
Remove the bulb socket from the lens housing by turning the socket counterclockwise a quarter turn and then remove the bulb from the socket.

Side Marker Lamp Bulb

Tip
Remove the bulb socket from the lens housing by turning the socket counterclockwise a quarter turn and pull the bulb straight out from the socket.
