Subject: | Rear Seat May Be Difficult To Move Back and Forth |

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
Rear seat may be difficult to move back and forth.
This concern is caused by excessive carpet backing under center seat rail, causing a bind condition. Remove rear seat and carpeting. Remove approximately 1/2 the carpet backing in a 6 inch wide path in the area that the center seat rail is retained, reducing the carpet thickness from 12 mm to 6 mm in thickness. This will leave enough insulation not to increase passenger compartment noise but will reduce seat movement effort.
