Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the front door lock with the integral door tamper and door contact switches. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement in Doors.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the front door lock with the integral door tamper and door contact switches. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement in Doors.
  2. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
